Online Coaching Pricing Calculator

Work out what to charge per client from your income goal and the hours you want to work. Free, no signup.

Recommended price€162 / client / mo

Revenue at capacity€5,346
Gross to bill€5,333

Price is set to hit your take-home after overhead, at full capacity. Adjust hours or per-client time to move it.

Most coaches price by copying competitors instead of working backward from their own numbers. This calculator does the reverse. Enter the monthly income you want to take home, the hours per week you can realistically spend on client work, and how much coach time each client costs you (calls, check-ins, writing programs). It grosses your target up to cover overhead, tax, and platform fees, then divides by how many clients actually fit in your hours. The output is a recommended monthly price per client and a client capacity — the two levers you actually control. If the plan isn’t feasible in the hours you set, raise the price, cut per-client time, or add group delivery rather than working more hours.

Capacity model: available client-facing minutes ÷ minutes per client. Price = (target income ÷ (1 − overhead)) ÷ capacity. Overhead defaults to 25% (tax, platform fees, admin).

  • How much should an online coach charge per month?

There is no universal number — it depends on your income goal, your available hours, and how much time each client takes. Online coaching typically ranges from €50–€300+ per client per month. This calculator gives you a price grounded in your own capacity rather than a guess.

  • Why does the recommended price feel high?

Because it grosses up for overhead and caps you at the clients your hours allow. If you can only serve 15 clients well, each has to carry more of your income. Lower the per-client time or add group delivery to bring the number down without working more.

  • What counts as overhead?

Tax, payment-processing and platform fees, software subscriptions, and admin time. The calculator assumes 25% by default. If you run lean, your take-home will be higher than shown; if you pay a big platform cut, it may be lower.

  • Should I charge the same price to every client?

The recommended price is an average target. Many coaches run tiers — a lower-touch group option and a premium 1:1 tier — that average out to this number. Use it as your blended target, not a fixed sticker price.
